Samsung SMART CAMERA App App Reviews

If this worked it would be great. But just tried 3 times to send pics to my iPhone 6 and the camera has disconnected each time.

It use to work wonderfully. Now I cant even transfer my videos from my camera to my phone. Tried multiple times with no success. PLEASE FIX THE APP!!!! I need it!

Doesnt work on any IOS device. Camera will connect, but wont let you do anything with the pictures. Clicking on them just makes them slightly larger, and then minimizes them. Typical Samsung garbage.

When I first got my Samsung NX3000 about a month ago. Out of the box, this app worked great for Camera to Mobile transfers (which is all I planned to use it for.) I wish there was a way to permanently dismiss the information pop-ups, and sometimes they even came up in Korean letters, which was just disorienting. But I could get over that, because up until today, it at least worked. Then earlier today, the app just crashes. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my phone, restarted the camera. I can connect to the wi-fi network created by the camera, but as soon as it begins a transfer, the app crashes, and then the camera is frozen in the transfer screen and I have to pop out the battery to force a restart. I like the wi-fi capability because I use the AutoBackup app on my Mac (though I had to dig around the internet to find the installation file which wasn’t with the camera, or in the internal memory, or even on the Samsung support website)… and that works fine. But sometimes I’m not near my computer and I want to share the pictures. It’s also confusing that there’s a different app for different models… I tried all of them, but this is the only one that works with my camera.
