Samsung SMART CAMERA App App Reviews

This app needs to be fixed immediately. With IOS 10 it doesnt let you link with the WiFi! And when I clicked on app support it went to Samsungs page in a foreign language. Very helpful...the fix that others have been able to do with the DNS did not work for me unfortunately. Very upset seeing as I usually go to the nearest WiFi spot to get the pictures off my camera onto my phone.

I have the WB250f model and love it. The app is awesome to use for taking remote pics with family but as well as uploading pics to YAJS cloud for sharing. However, since iOS10, I have had major connection issues. My iPhone operates 10.1.1. We spent a lot of time looking for a fix and found it on reviews here. Look to the review dated Nov 2016. That fix Worked!!! Thank you so much for that post!! I add my voice to ask Samsung to update their app as it can be a great tool!

When I got the camera the app worked for great for 7 months and now I cant use it! I wanted to use the remote finder but it said i have to get it via apple pay?? What is this, i wanted to share pictures with my family and I cant use it for anything now! Fix the app samsung !!

Adding my voice to the multitude asking for a fix to the app for those of us using iOS 10. K have tried the workaround to no avail. The whole point of having a wifi enabled camera is to be able to upload photos to a phone easily. Get it together Samsung.

...it used to work really well until i updated my phone to ios 10.....so please make an update...

ive had this camera for less than a year and can no longer use the wifi feature to download pictures using an iphone with the updated ios. please fix - you owe it to your customers to keep your products working when other platforms necessary to samsung features update.

Update this app so it works with 10.2 !!!!!!

It is was an great app!!

iOS 10.2 Fix: Connect to the cameras WiFi. Click on "i" next to device. Enter the "SUBNET MASK" number you find into the "DNS" field. Then go back to the app & it works as it did previously. Hope this helps.

The phone connects to the camera and gets an IP but the app wont acknowledge the wifi connection and in turn allows 0 functionality.

This app has not been updated for iOS10 thus rendering the camera useless. I emailed Samsung support who threw it back to me to contact the app developers. That would be fine if their website was in English but its not. Do not buy a Samsung camera until this app is updated!

The app no longer connects to my 6 Plus so all I can do is email the pictures from my camera. Huge pain to do that. Why doesnt the app work anymore???

If this app needs an update, then please, please update it. It was unable to detect the personal wifi of my camera and didnt work at all. Its a shame, as I was really looking forward to receiving my files on mobile. If this is a feature on the Samsung camera I bought, then there should be no excuse for such a terrible app.

I bought my NX in 2012 or 2013 and this app worked great then. Now Ive learn you have register some place else to use it.

App will not connect after iOS 10.2.1 update. Please fix this!

I bought the camera because it boasted wifi connection, so you should have been able to email from the camera AND transfer directly to your smartphone. The camera cannot connect to the phone via the app. The app is now useless. Period.

This app used to work great for me but it no longer connects to the camera. I can get my phone connected to the cameras wifi and the app will still not connect.

Please update or something. I cant connect it to my iphone or ipad even though it says it is connected to the wifi. Please!!!
