Samsung SMART CAMERA App App Reviews

6 months ago I bought the NX3000 and I loved it till recently. After the new iOS update this app no longer works. And after weeks of frustration dealing with Samsung I was offered no resolution if this app will ever work again. Their response was to use an iPhone that doesnt have the newest update. Dont be like me and get a better product that wont alienate their iPhone users.

Samsung please update your app to support the new IOS 10 software; I love the camera but now the feature which previously allowed me to sync my pictures is nonexistent!

There is a technical difficulty with ios10 Wi-Fi connection with the camera. However, by editing the DNS connection of the Wi-Fi from your iPhone to 8.8.8.8, rebooting your phone, and connecting again - it works! Link to forum: dpreview.com/forums/thread/4054972

Probably due to the security updates Apple put on wifi, the wifi never connects my camera and phone to transfer photos anymore.

Very upset with this app. They have done nothing to improve the state its in. It will not connect my camera to my phone no matter what I do. It worked for many years until just recently. Very irritating as I dont have the cord to transfer to my computer anymore because this camera is 3 years old and has been moved around a lot. Samsung please get your stuff together and fix this issue.

App does not work after iOS 10 updates. Poor support from Samsung. Please update so I can fully use my camera the way you intended it to be used.

Apps dont work with latest iOS Even on mac the wireless connection is unreliable Samsung quality ???

The newest version no longer supports my WB350F which is only 2 years old. It used to transfer photos via wifi, but now does not. Please make the older version app available.

So frustrating! This app definitely needs fixing. Cannot get the camera to connect at all.

My camera use to connect perfectly before the update screwed it all up and no longer allows any iPhone/Apple product to connect. Any other device works great. I bought this camera for this transfer option. Samsung upgrade your app.!! Come one pull it together.!

The camera pops up with its wifi, you can connect to it. And then once you open the app it says that you have to connect to a wifi first. Frustrating to have a great camera, but a not so great app to deal with. Fix this problem please.

Havent used my camera in a few months. Got it out to take some pics and now they wont transfer to my phone. I am getting an error message saying I havent connected to the camera wi-fi, but I have. Please help. I want my pictures!!!

With this app not available my nx3300 is not worth half of what I paid for it. Please please fix this

Stupid app is worthless. Wont work with the camera

The app is not recognizing the wifi connection to the camera. The prior workaround of entering the ip address of the camera doesnt help. Come on Samsung, get your act together !

This app worked until I updated my phone to the new iOS 10.2 software! PLEASE UPDATE

So ever since IOS 10 came along every time I tried to connect my Samsung WB35F the iPhone connects to the wifi but it says security recommendation. When I go on the app it says Im not connected. The camera I bought was almost 200 at the time because it was new and I bought it wifi compatible because it makes life easier then hooking your computer up to your camera. Samsung please update this app so people can start using it again but until then I wont be buying another wifi compatible camera from Samsung. Yes I have tried putting the IP number thing in the DNS number and it still doesnt work.

Had used this for months, then it just simply stopped recognizing the wifi. Cant even re-download another copy of the app.
